Nissan GTR brochure 2010

In November I got to work on a Nissan GTR brochure with Carl Lyttle Productions. An international job with an Irishman, 2 Englishmen, 3 Frenchmen, 3 Spaniards, 1 Argentinian and a South African for good measure. Dan and myself travelled two days in a van with the gear from London via France to Barcelona. After many days and nights of shooting, the trip was repeated in reverse. Despite having to communicate in French, Spanish and English the mood was great and the jokes kept flowing. Good food, wine, great weather, staying in a Spanish castle and having a rap party at cirque du soliel (...and we call this work) led to a very enjoyable shoot. Carl Lyttle is a great photographer with a really cool taste is music.

ireland/davenport MTN footballer shoot.

I recently got to work with ireland/davenport south africa. The client was MTN and the ad for the fifa football world cup 2010. We had to set up a temporary studio on location, as I was piggy backing on a film shoot. The make shift studios were: a squash court, outside in the rain on a patio and in an office. We got about 5 minutes with each player. It was a fun shoot, the footballers were legends and I also got to see some old industry faces. The football player's were (Chelsea) Michael Essien, Salomon Kalou, Mikel Obi, (Arsenal) Alex Song, (Bologna)Stephan Appiah and (Portsmouth) South African Aaron Mokoena.
